First, over-age candidates should not have been enabled by online link to apply when age bracket was explicitly given in the advertisement. Second, if relaxation is to be granted then it should be across the board, not confined to petitioners or those who have applied. However, when it comes to PPSC, logic does not always rule.

I have neither applied nor I could file the writ. Infact I was going to file the writ but unfortunately I have to bore expenses of another case which was more important to me, to be heard in LHC.
If I should start preparation or otherwise, plz advise me in this regard.

i had advised some time ago that in case the court grants relaxation to the petitioners only then other people should file a writ in the court with the plea that they should also be given relief as they have the same grievance and since all are equal before the eyes of law it is almost certain that they will also get the relief so in my opinion as soon as the court gives its verdict and its scope does not encompasses all then other people should follow the above mentioned procedure Insha Allah they will get the relief

I have consulted a lawyer who is a close friend of mine , regarding the issue of age relaxation case, he said that either the age relaxatin will be granted to everyone or it will not be granted at all.
He further added that as the age relaxation was granted to all in the previous cases therefor LHC will take the previous cases as precedent for this case and therefore it will be decided in favour of all the candidates.
Moreover as for as the case will be delayed , exam will be delayed and more will be chances for increase of seats. Therefore he advised that all the over age candidates should start their preparation.
