Phd in chemistry ... and you chose PMS
What about teaching and Research?
You could have gone on to have a bright career as a scientist.
But you wish to be a part of the mostly unproductive Provincial civil service .. amazing.... isn't it.
well it is your decision bro and I have no right to question you.
May you succeed in Life. Insha ALLAh.
I sometimes ask myself a question, that who is going to do the work of an Engineer if all Engineers in Pakistan chose a career in Public Service.
I now have a clear idea why Pakistanis still have to bear the legacy models such as Mehran in the automobile Industry, why we suffer from energy crisis,
why is there not even a single Pakistani engineer who proved his mark in the international arena, let alone the guy who claimed to have made a car using water as fuel. ( pun intended)
Simply put its Pakistani way of doing things.
An engineer wants to be a CSS officer. I am currently training as a police officer and in my Batch we have 14 or 15 engineers and 2 or 3 doctors.
I did a simple bachelors degree and Masters degree because i always wanted to be a part of the civil service. I never wasted my time in MBBS even though i had enough marks to get admission in a medical college.
Why doctors do not practice medicine instead of becoming useless human beings which they do become in Civil service. I know you all have practiced that question alot Beta why do you wish to join the civil service or WHy PMS/CSS? But the simple answer is we all are Power hungry, yes we all are because she/he does not wish to pursue a career in medicine anymore just to be able to get powerful by holding a public office.
i sometimes wonder why in Pakistan alone people wake up after they have already chosen a career path and decide not to be a part of that any longer and continue with the Civil Service.

If civil service is so bad, unproductive and ugly then wh did you aspire to join it and not went for medicine? Or may be your description of the civil services is merely a reflection of yourself in the mirror.
Learn to accept that the openness is the hallmark of competitive exams. Instead of criticising the system, try to become invincible.

It is the constitutional right of all Pakistani citizen (whether doctors, engineers or else) that they have the freedom to choose their profession/means of livelihood.

Dear all these questions have already been answered by me in the interview.

your qualification shouldn't restrict you to 360-degree circle, rather it should make you more versatile.

Ans Simply update your knowledge that Angela Merkel is Phd in physical chemistry, Guetress is electrical engineer, XI of china is also chemical engineer!!!!!!!!! so,

Moreover, I dared to accept the challenge and Alhamdulillah did it! :-)
Good luck!
