I'm depressed and didn't know what's wrong with me.
I have given a PPSC test and failed badly and have obtained only 13 marks.
I'm new here and I need seniors help about how to prepare for PPSC exam and get maximum marks?
P.S. I have done BS CS from Punjab University.

Prepare ppsc imteaz shahid past papers thoroughly and after that prepare each section separately from caravan gk book.. Take pak mcqs website in parralel with these.. It will take minimum 3 months.. Don't Buren yourself.. Put Slow and consistent efforts

In my opinion, there is no short cut for preparation of General knowledge exam. We can divide one-paper exam into two main portions: Dynamic portion and Static portion. For success,we must prepare both part thoroughly. For Static portion following topics must be prepared:

1. General Science: biological, physical, chemical, and computer
2. History of Pakistan from 720 AD
3. Geography- Continent, Strait, Peninsula, Sea ports, mountains, and other basic concept
4. Basic Islamic History From Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to Last Caliph of Orthodox Caliphate
5. Basic Islamic General Knowledge
6. First, last, fastest, slowest, largest and smallest type information
7. Measurements-Conversion of measurements, etc
8. International and Regional organisation histroy- UNO, OIC, SCO, RCD, ECO, NAM, etc
9. International Agreement that ratified by Pakistan

Preparation of these static portion must prepare from authentic books. For example, for constitutional history, one should read Political and Constitutional history of Pakistan By Hamid Khan, Biological portion should be read from intermediate books.

Second Portion is dynamic portion of paper. Current affair is a dynamic portion of one-Paper exam. For preparation of current affair, one must read newspaper daily especially dawn. First, last, sports and international papers are most important. Points must be note in notebook so that material could be revised before examination. In this way, you would prepare 60 percent of all exam. Furthermore, questions related to general ability is also asked in examination paper and English grammar and vocabulary is also asked in exam. These two portions need practice to learn both properly. So practice them thoroughly. For vocabulary portion,learn 1500 words of GRE so that you could identify synonym or antynon of a word in examination paper.
