Hi, I f any one with the info can tell the difference between the same posts in province and the center. What are the pays, promotion and other prospects?

In Punjab:
Assistant (BS-16) [Gazetted Officer] with Fast Promotions
Career Ladder:
1. Assistant (BS-16)
2. Superintendent or *Section Officer (BS-17)
[Some departments have promotion cadre from Assistant to Section Officer]
3. Deputy Director / Deputy Secretary (BS-18)
4. Director or Additional Secretary (BS-19)
5. Addl. Director General or *Secretary (BS-20)
[This position is mostly granted to CSP Officers or PMS Officers]

In Federal:
Assistant (BS-15) [Non-Gazetted Official] Lethargic and Slow Promotions
Career Ladder:
