Do you know, how many candidates did not join and how many candidates from waiting list have been contacted?

Deputy Accountant is much better than a 14 scale job education department. its promotion will be slow but still fast than education department.

Yes, I have received a letter from Finance Department but I don't know how many other candidates are being called, but surely there are few. At least they are 5-6 BUT not more than that because if there were more people than this number, they should have re-advertised the post and conducted another exam.

dear ambee..Congratulates.I thing following information will help you to make your mind.
Its 14 grade job,comparitively rapid promotion.
Even there is chance it will be upgraded in 16 in future as litigation regarding this is in supreme court.
After necessary formalities you will be appointed in account office most probably in your home distt.There is also a seat of dy. accountant at teh level.
After appointment you will be put in any section dealing deferent departments e.g. edu,police etc
You have to deal with pay,t a ,da bills,checks to contracters etc.
There is work load and lot of public dealing.
There will be no subordinate of you except naib qasid.
Broken furniture and loose talk are routine matter.
