Salam to every one. By the grace of ALLAH Almighty I’ve passed the written paper for the post of Deputy Accountant. Currently I’m serving as Food Grains Inspector, what you members suggest me either to go for this post or not. Moreover I’ve no idea about the post of Deputy Accountant; hence I want some help from you guys to guide me about it. At present some queries are in my mind and I request from members for their answers:
What are responsibilities of Deputy Accountant?
Who are the sub ordinates of Deputy Accountant (means what is rank lower than Deputy Accountant)?
What is the designation to which Deputy Accountant promoted?
Is it a tehsil level job or district level job or division level job?
Please members guide me what to do as soon as possible. May ALLAH Almighty bestow all of you. Thanks in advance for anticipation.

dear its a grade 17 job,lot better than your existing food inspector job. i would suggest you to take it seriously,it would be in tehsil or district depending your final merit. for more info text or call me at 0******* ,i'll guide you In shaa Allah.

2nd thing is that the promotion for deputy accountant is Deputy District Accounts Officer after completion of 2 year of continuous service as Deputy Accountant and 1.5 Year course of PIPFA. After that you will be eligible for your promotion on DPC

aliriaz123: What are chances of being promoted after having PIPFA???

I heard that those who completed PIPFA in 2006, got promotion immediately but since that time new Promotion is much difficult because more and more people are doing PIPFA now, 60+ PIPFA certified are still in waiting.

Now promotion will be slow as 90+ DDAO have been recruited direct last year. This will cause the promotion process slow for Deputy Accountants.

Taimoor_Gondal: I just have been selected as Deputy Accountant, but a bit confused whether to join or not???......because I am already doing a job of 14th scale......if this is the case with promotion then it would be almost impossible to got promotion in near future.

Deputy Accountants were selected last year and joined service in August 2013.

It was the same job whose advertisement was appeared in 2011 and test was conducted in December 2012 and final list was made in June 2013......Most of the selected candidates joined but few didn't. To replace those who didn't join, they are now calling the people from the waiting list.....I and few more are from those lucky candidates......I am doing job in Education Department.
