That is why it is called tiranga (tricolor).

I know tiranga means tricolor brother, its a simple word and doesn't need to be translated to understand its meaning.what i was saying is that it actually has four colors but still they called it tiranga!!
i originally thought that the wheel was of black color but then i read on wiki that its of blue color.if i hadn't read the wiki page then my answer would have been 4 colors not three.
and now that we all know what the indian flag is called, it inspires me to ask everyone if they know what the flag of Pakistan is called?

Dear, I think k agar NTS ye poch sakti hai k Minar-e-Pakistan kahan hai, to definately unhon ka answer 3 hoga. Leken Ridaf ka matlab sahi hai k actually is main 4 colors hain.

Simply, agar ap flag k wheel ko add karaty ho to 4 colors hain. Otherwise, 3 colors hain. Leken, NTS is not going to go to hair-spilitting detail at this level. Hence, answer should be 3 colors.

nts is not making proper questions and it is controvercial question, so such questions should not be included.
