Photocopy is more than enough at this stage as they only require photocopy of your certificates. You can easily get the original once you are shortlisted for interview from the last institute you attended.

To me this is odd practice (and sort of unknown) to insert 8 choices when you are asked for 4 choices. Furthermore, I have ONLY put 4 choices.

It is not an odd practice to insert 4 more choices because form is not devised as per available positions, hence common sense demands addition on your part. I emphasized addition because I have seen some candidates who secured nice merit but remained un-allocated because due to lack of awareness they did not fill out all the choices.

Candidates need not take it serious at this stage because revised options will be asked at the time of interview.

Character certificate from last attended institution is not submitted in original; always a copy of certificate is submitted just to retain the original for multiple purposes in future. However; character certificate from any individual is always submitted in original.

OK dear, thanks for a wise advise. But, unfortunately I had submitted the form last week. But, Insha Allah when I will be asked for final preference of posts, I will exercise all 8 options. I wish I had come to know this before. This is the benefit that we get from seniors like you, Ali Mallah & Muhammad Hussain.

Accommodate all 8 choices in your micro handwriting by adding 4 more choices in the form.

1. AC BPS-17
2. ETO BPS-17: 2nd best option
3. Section Officer BPS-17: For career oriented people
4. Assistant Registrar BPS-17: For money loving people
5. Mukhtiyarkar BPS-16: For future AC/Revenue career
6. AD Labor BPS-17
7. District Food Controller BPS-16: For money loving people
8. Labor Officer BPS-16: theek hy

You can be posted at Karachi for all of the above positions.

Please find me; where do you get 8 position of SPCS?
spcs.gov.pk website shown only 7 position.

Please correct me!

Sir can you clarify this

" c) On the Treasury Challan the candidate should clearly indicate the name of
the post for which the fee is being sent and also inscribe legibly on it the following
classification in the column of “Head of Account” Receipt of Sindh Government under
the "C02101-Organ of State-Exam Fee (SPSC Receipts)".

Does this mean if I'm applying for 4 posts in exam so I would have to submit 4 challans ( Rs 4000) or just 1000 only ?

And if just Rs. 1000 then what should I mention in Post applied for in a) Application form b) challan form.

Dear all, I hope you all are doing well, I am going to attempt first time in SPSC combine competitive exam, and I have chosen these subjects as optional.

1. Islamic History Period 1
2. Sociology
3. Journalism/Mass Communication

However, I have now seen SPSC website for syllabus there are 43 subjects in optional but before there was 44 and on 44 serial no. there was Journalism/Mass Communication and now journalism is missing from syllabus and I have submitted the application form, so what should I do for journalism concern?

You are right, Journalism is not there in the syllabus uploaded on website. But, it is enlisted in the syllabus which is provided by the SPSC offices. Hence, be assured that it is offered.
