thanks for your valuable comments, but my friend what you need to understand that we were asking for 40% marks means those who secured 40% should be eligible for written test in either ways, whether it be 40% marks passing criteria or giving grace marks so that candidates with 40% should stand eligible for written test. Now you get it?
What you are talking is totally different, you are saying that they should have set passing criteria 40 and then in addition they grant grace marks as well to those who were below 40%.
So when we say our demand has been addressed we mean the candidates with 40% marks before are now eligible for the next phase. But few exceptional cases have been reported on the forum so we should all support them and stand by them for their righteous demands.

your demand of 40% is not fulfilled yet because many candidates having marks 40 are still failed. these 9 grace marks are of no use for them...

I'm with you in the protest. But let's see how many effected candidates are really coming with us?

And yes anyshaikh where were you at the time when we are asking every member to join us in the protest and give us support? you have to tell that too.

I don't know I am happy or not even after passing the test and I still don't know whether I am going to appear in further exams or not.
All I know is that this act of SPSC brought bad feelings and bad name to sindh's prestigious institution. Such height of on-record incompetence has never been observed in the history of any such type of institutions. God help us all. Writing letter of appreciation to chairman SPSC....no way. Its just like appreciating the doctor who made you sick.
My opinion, as far as dispute resolution is concerned, spsc has covered up his in-competencies by granting grace marks to candidates. Hence, objective has been achieved and further protests will damage all process.

Why further protests will damage all process? what kind of process , you mean? the process which is based on irregularities and awarding 9 grass marks to a handful aspirants to make them reconcile, that was FACE SAVING to obscure the irregularities, blunder, nepotism and redtapism. Redtapism in conducting CCE after 6 years is their sole flaw not of candidates,when will be next CCE ? nobody know till then all affected candidates would be overage, means it was a sole chance which have been snatched through constipation. Is Screening test justified as a legal? if yes where in the rules or constitutional act its mentioned?. the resolution of this enigma is to re-conduct of Screening or awarding 16 grass marks to the candidates having marks in between 35% to 49%, additionally reducing passing touchstone to 40% . so the sole chance can be availed by each candidate because its not candidates flaw its redtapism in conducting CCE. Else lawcourts should be consulted for justice, in this regard CJ SHC should take suo moto action.

I would suggest you to prepare for other exams or concentrate on your Current education or job. Do not waste your time. Though there were mistakes in the screening test but they addressed this matter carefully by giving grace marks.

Now if a candidate's score is 35, he will say that 15 marks should be given additional and so on. SPSC can not fulfill the requests of every candidate. So, I would suggest you to close this matter now if you are wise.

Accepting your failure because you did not prepare very well and learning lesson from it to start preparing for future tests is much better than wasting your time in such kind of discussions and protests.

we were with you in the protest, sent many emails to SPSC, struggled for 40%. it was not necessary to comment here. now you are pass after getting grace marks and became happy without considering the candidates whose marks are 40 and are not benefited by the result.

No doubt I prepared to the utmost,but filling of answer sheet answer square was tedious,opaque, time consuming and tiny shaped as compared to the samples in the test. Paper was not standard in format i.e English & GK sections were amalgamated.In the last moment end of test announced, it should be more time and clear answer square , so it could be easily filled.

you are very right, we shouldn't waste time anymore, further protest would just be a waste of time since SPSC has already made remedy on our demand. Therefore, protesting further does not make sense, and won't be worthwhile and addressing our demand is itself sign of guilt of SPSC and our victory.
Hence, the protest call is hereby called off and stands dismissed.
Thanks everyone for the support and thanks others for their hatred (which is still understandable) which made us stronger to fight against injustice.
