any idea how many vaccancies?
they seem to be in a hurry to select people and i guess there are many seats, it is a sheer guess which i infer from urgency in which they seem to be
no gd, direct interviews, daily 30 people....

according to the office person I met at interview, there are around 500 candidates in line and they have to select 40 out of those

dear one of my sir works in statebank...according to him waiting list candidates will be called but its conditional ... if their requirement (allocated seats) didnot fulfill /meet from qualified candidates then they will call waiting list other wise not.........sir says there is 10 % chance that we can be called for interview..if they call us then first of all we will have to send our documents to statebank then our interview will be scheduled according to their time table.... soon this issue will be cleared...when interview of karachi will be overed then they will through a light on issue of waiting list candidates ..so we will have to wait dear i think upto further 2 weeks..because karachi interviews will be ended on 3-4th of next week..........
so pray for all :P

Yup! SBP BSC is in urgency of selection.... becoz of the reason that major portion of SBP hiring was in the years of `978 to 1982 and they are almost near their retirement age... Average age of SBP BSC is 54 years... N specially in last year 20% of their staff is retired... During my internship at SBP BSC i meet staff members and 75% of those had crossed 25 years of their service... Some are more than 30 years.... So we can expect a bigger batch from SBP now :P
