I am very thankful to you dear Jetpack2 and razayousfani85 too.
I realize that in this bank the growth is very slow especially in terms of salary in every Brach specially in our branch targets are high - less number of employees - lot of work pressure - and more then tough audit - people are working from 5-6 year back just getting salary of >25k. ( I think u r understanding) that why I’m thinking / asking to move to public sector bank, and the problem I’m average student there is no space of 50-60% in this world, you must have two thing for success 2. You are 75+% 1. You have >50% with luck (in terms of reference etc) |

Dear Shubi
Agreed that employees working at private bank face so much work load but because of this, they are at good positions too. Who says stay 6- 10 years in one organization. In public sector, you should have reference to get good salary increaments and promotions. If you imagine, public sector employee, old but sitting with clerks and having jokes. Avoid customers and work. |

I have worked for standard chartered bank for 15 months and recently joined HBL. As i have worked for 2 banks now so i can give you a little idea about it. Its better to know you want to work in an islamic bank but let me let you islamic or non islamic, these days all the banks are following the same track. you may join as CSO at present but eventually when you will be promoted, if not operations, you will be promoted as an RM where you will be asked to bring in deposits which is the most hardest and cheapest part of working in the bank. If you want to stay as a CSO you will not have any career at all. I will suggest you to stay at sindh bank and try to learn whatever you can and then go for any other opportunity if arises. if you think you can pool in a 100 Mn + every year, then you should definitely go and join any islamic bank as the islamic banks right now are going through a growing phase and they need deposits in huge bags. |

Thanks for your response. CSO at bank islami is like OGIII and work in operations. Deposit may be asked but not mendatory to bring. There is no growth in sindh bank and employer turnover is increasing here. Now what u advice Shuby Please submit your Cv to main branch or head office. Hiring is completely on merit basis I am sure you will get response at earliest. |
