NO it is not true. Every organization specially in banking sector, experinced candidtes are prefered over non experienced. So if experoience is metioned in CV plus you told interviw panel in interview about your relevant experience then surely they will wieght you more in final selection.

No brother u have been misinformed i guess. when an organization recruits a MTO they prefer a fresh student because a fresher does not know the trick of the trade and also they can be trained the way an organization likes. this is a common thinking of an organization which i have seen, and that is why a lot of applicants do not show their experience during the process of recruiting. but there are also some exceptions everywhere so have faith in Allah and be confident.

Daer i did not write the words of mouth.I have gone through this situation.During our interview at UBL, one candidate was selected even without test and interview because he had considerable banking experience. UBL offered us the package of 22K but that person is earning 50K plus he is branch manager now.

me neither dear. i have served as an mto in allied bank and i know some people who were serving with other banks at the time of interview and they mentioned that and got rejected. and same thing happened to me even at the time of interview for tbo's at mcb and service quality group in allied bank and also in bank islami, i was a fresher at that time, i got selected and some guys with experience got rejected.
the man you are talking about is an exception and this does not happen everyday. even though he is not selected in the same bracket for which the interviews were held.

May be those guys rejected for any other reason. Dear mostly experienced candidates are prefered. I dont know what was the case in your interview with banks.

Bro I am also not totaly agree with You because if the Banks prefer the experienced candidates then they have to mention it in the advertisement, but usually in the advertisement they mention "fresh graduates" required not the experiencd. Experinced may be preferred only in contract or deposit base jobs. Mr. Ali Ashiq Ch is one of my best friends and also my MBA class fellow. He got selected in almost every interview he appeard for Banks without any experience. So have faith in ALLAH and hope for the best

thanks bhatti sahib, its so nice to hear some nice words of love and appreciation from so far yet so near. i hope you understand what i mean
as you know i gave about half a dozen bank interviews and tests and i got selected in all but one, and i was a fresher at that time.some guys with me who were already working in other banks were even asked that if you are currently working in a bank then why are you sitting here trying for the job, you already have the job.
