Dear liyari can not be regarded as a backward area because it is the town of the biggest and one of the most developed city of Pakistan. And yeah, adjacent to your town is sadar where exists the top bussiness, engineering, arts, and medical schools of the country.

The age relaxation proposal is a stand-alone notion. There is no other string attached with it. Minimum qualification is UNTOUCHED at the moment, i.e, 14 years.

As Mr. Ahsan Iqbal has stated multiple times via various mediums, the age relaxation proposal has the following effects (My own words below):

a) Maximum age limit to appear in CSS is 29.99 years (cut-off on 31st Dec of preceeding year). This is for everyone across the board, whether you belong to FATA, Sindh, Punjab or any other region/domicile.
b) For Govt. Employees with 2 years worth of work experience, the cut-off age will be 31.99 years.

its great that the age is increased. but they should also consider increasing the no. of attempts, even if they have to increase the age again. i guess the no of attempts for civil service exam in other countries like india, etc are more than three.
given the education situation here along with discriminatory cultural attitudes and practices when it come females, both must be increased.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif approved on Friday a summary moved by the planning and development ministry, extending the upper age limit of candidates appearing in CSS examinations from 28 to 30 years.

The summary had been moved a few months ago, but the prime minister had declined to sanction the same, citing procedural flaws in the draft.

PM rejects summary seeking increase in age-limit for CSS exam

The upper age limit for serving government employees (both federal and provincial) has been increased from 30 to 32 years for CSS examinations.

This age limit was reduced from 32 to 30 years for government employees and that of 30 to 28 years for other candidates appearing in CSS exams during the Musharraf regime.

Dwindling prestige of the CSS

The summary was approved by the prime minister at a federal cabinet meeting held in Lahore.

Dear Senior Members...

It is requested that kindly confirm this news of extending age for Civil Candidates from 28 to 30. As I will be of 29 in the month of September, 2016. I have 2 more chances for this purposes.

I am making plan of it. Please confirm, so that I can start the preparations.

FPSC should have an update soon enough on their website regarding age relaxation > 30.

As for your statement - if you're going to be 29 this year, you only have one attempt left, i.e, CE-2017.

Yes FPSC has not issued any notification in this regard though Mr.Ahsan Iqbal gave a video message two,three days ago.

Kindly confirm is increase in age limit applicable from 2017 or what ? I am asking this question because Mr.Ahsan Iqbal dint mention the applicability date of this decision and FPSC has already notified in April 2016 that Age limit for the exam of 2017 will be 28.
