@Shallowwater. Salam sir! I m ASHFAQ doing MBA(HRM) final year, want to appear in css2013, one of my CSP frnd asked me to improve u wrting,reading skills first through reading,writing and frm dawn,, so frm previous few months i m strving alot through reading as well as writing, but i cannt do so. In a nut shel, what should i do in this dismal situation. Waiting for u earlier response

Dear Ashfaque,
In order to imporve your skills of writting, all you need to do is to practise it all the way.
Read more , write the most.
Read as many good authors as you can
don't miss Dawn editorials
as a result you'll be developing your vocabulary and sense of expression.
You'll learn proper usage of words, phrases and ideoms.
keep writing ....

@Shallowater and other Seniors

Please guide me as i have to choose two optionals from these 4 choices (Sociology, Forestry, Journalism and International Law). For the record, i don't have a background in any of these subjects and they are totally new to me.

you should go with sociology and journalism.

I want to inform all the members that i am going to write down complete current affairs notes for CSS. No need to go after books in the market. All in one book would help you people secure 60 marks in c.affairs.

Dear senior thanks for giving us your valuable advice and time. We are really thankful of you and gaining a lot. I am too worried. I am waiting for my result of BS(Business Administration) and now planning to attempt CSS in 2013. But I am really confused about my MBA. Whether I apply for admission or just concentrate on CSS. MBA is also very important for me because in case of failure in css I cant apply for good jobs on basis of BS. I am really worried and i need seniors' valuable advice. I have already started to read dawn on daily basis along with searching books for compulsory subjects. And I also want to know that it is necessary to have all the recommended books?? I also want to know that is it necessary to join any academy? Waiting for your kindness.....!!
