At least I can get guidance from seniors about that subject. I have downloaded few of recommended books and I have found it pretty interesting. I think It is a rational choice.

I have choice of only two theoretical subjects of 200 marks which are international relations and political science. They have a very low scoring trend. Hardly anyone has crossed 50 and CSS is all about fetching good marks for merit not about passing. So I think they are not rational choices. About accounting and audit it is a scoring subject. With good practice one can get around 170 marks in it if one solves numerical questions rather than theoretical questions. I have gone through past papers of last 5 years.Except 2014 paper I was able to solve the other 4 papers without preparation.Paper of 2015 was easiest of all. I have already studied 75% portion of this subject in B.Com. Like financial, cost, advance, audit and tax. I think with a good practice on daily basis till exams I will be able to solve the paper excellently. I have arranged a private coaching for this subject specially managerial accounting as I have not studied this portion in B.Com. I think I should practice it on daily basis just like English and Essay. In Sha Allah I will get through this subject with good marks. I am weak in the subject because I have not practiced this subject. I have not even given attention to the subject in examination days. Attempted the paper without preparation and passed cost with 80 marks, audit with 68 marks, tax, financial and advanced accounting with marks in ranging from 60 to 70. Not bad without preparation.
Economics is I think worst for me as compared to accounting and audit. It also have mathematical portion and graphs which are even worse for me.

Your further suggestions are needed
you should go with the subject you feel comfortable. If you are confident that you can fetch gud marks in audit/accounting then you should opt it. further, evryone gonna face the music coz new syllabi and grouping leave no option except to take risk in 2016 in all respect. So dont worry and be decisive now. It does not make any difference whether someone opts i.r/eco/auditing but ones confidence and ease in preparation and fetching gud marks

Many thanks
Yes you are right now every one is going to face the music but scoring trend will remain almost the same. They can change the syllabus but not the checkers. I do not think we will see much difference. I Cannot say much about new subjects like gender studies etc. I have checked the syllabus of IR, PS, economics and a & a. I was unable to develop interest in IR and PS. Economics and A & A are same things for me. I will have to take risk so I am going to opt. A & A.

I have dropped philosophy and replaced it with mercantile law. Half of the syllabus is from my B.Com syllabus of business law. I can revise it within two days the rest can be easily studied by me in 10 days.

For Business administration i am done with management and marketing. I am studying f.management and hrm in my current semester so I will prepare them during the semester. Just supply chain management will be different for me.

Only psychology and history of USA are new for me. So they will take time.

I am worried about compulsory subjects. Syllabus has been changed and we have no one to guide about books etc.

Yes I am focusing on English , current affairs and accounting & auditing on daily basis. I will have to keep my routine till exams. Practicing essay and precie on alternative days. Along with these I have started preparing Mercantile Law and general science & ability. From now on I will take one optional and one compulsory subject at a time along with my routine subjects.
Reading dawn on daily basis too.

Thanks a lot

Philosophy 100 marks
Business Administration 100 marks
Psychology 100 marks

I need help with rest of 200 marks.
Although I have background of accounting and auditing but I do not want to take accounting and auditing because it has always been a tricky and risky subject for me. If I choose Economics, micro, macro,Pakistan economy and managerial economics was the part of my syllabus in bachelors and at master level. I do not have a master degree in this subject.

So can a candidate who does not hold a master degree in Economics perform well or not?
I have performed very well in Economics both at bachelor and master level.

If not than I am left with two options political science and international relations.
I do not have background of any of these subjects. Which one is easy to cover and have scoring trend?
Apart from that kindly check the four subjects I have chosen so far and tell how is my combination? Should I go for It?

Please keep in mind that I perform exceptionally high in theoretical subjects.
Since you are related with Accounts, you must go for accounting & Auditing because it is not as difficult as it seems just go through the past papers, you will find it easy. And secondly you are optioning Business Administration, I have done MBA but can't option it because it is too lengthy it consist of nearly all MBA subjects. I suggest you to go for the subjects as Criminology (which is short in syllabus) and Governance and public policy

Thanks a bunch.Yes I have decided to take accounting and auditing. I think I can better tackle business administration. I am already done with management and marketing portion.currently preparing hrm and fm. only supply chain portion left. Criminology, governance and public policy are entirely new subjects. I have no background and secondly they have been introduced by fpsc for the 1st time in CE-2016. So no guiding person or material is available. I do not wanna take risk with each and every subject. Already taking in case of A & A. Secondly their syllabus may be less then b.a but for those subjects one will have to start from scratch. I already have idea about business administration.

Your background and opted subjects are similar to mine. Will it be feasible for you to share your study plan or prepare together?
