This is more than enough for you.
this will prepare you for essay, current affairs, pakistan affairs (partly), islamiat (partly), English precis and composition (partly)

if you want to step further, you may start some good encyclopedia, download some international one and start studying it. you will enjoy it + it will help you a looooooot in EDS and other optional science subjects like Psychology and Geography.
just study it for sake of knowledge irrespective of paper pattern or syllabus. this is an awesome thing.

i have a few books in softcopy. if you want them, tell me, i'l mail you

sir @WEREWOLF I have new admission in B.A(2 year)...

I have selected" Economics & History" as my major subjects,...
Is it a good selection???/
if not then what I should select in these remaining subjects" political science, International relations (I.R) & English elective"....
plz kindly guide me..as it is first and basic step to css......

History is ok, economics is not much scoring if you are not interested in it.

i would suggest you to go with I.R or English..

I.R will help you in Current affairs, Pak affairs + during interview.
English will help you in CSS overall.

Your prior knowledge does help you in your subjects, but for most part, in CSS you have to study every subject starting from ZERO (from paper point of view). so don't worry. At this stage, just focus on widening your approach and thinking on broader scale..

actually i did not.
i left them both + many more topics on choice. but only after some calculations




if you are comfortable with journalism, then go for it, it is better and more stable than sociology.
