I used EDS by Akram kashmiri but it has a lot of mistakes. So it would be better to cover Human physiology, physics, chemistry and certain other latest topics like working of instruments from matriculation/Intermediate books and web sources. Since EDS paper is composed of 50 MCQs, Imtiaz Shahid's MCQs book and past papers should be solved.

As for the MCQs of other subjects, i have found the MCQs books sub standard and full of errors. So I ended up solving the past papers in light of reference books and highlighted important fact and figures in books.

This issue has already been discussed on cssforum more than once. I personally think it makes no difference whether you attempt in English or Urdu medium.Only expression must be good.

Congratulations.
May you have a happy life in the dunya and the akhira.
Did you have the same optionals for PMS and CSS and did you prepare the same topics for PMS and CSS, both compulsary and optional subjects?

Yes, I had the same optional subjects throughout CSS and PMS exams. There was barely 25 days gap between PMS and CSS exam 2011 and yes, i covered the same topics for both the exams except for the fact that there were no MCQs in PMS optional papers.

i want to ask

1)does making of outline mater in Pakistan/current affairs' paper??i mean does it give benefit??or how to deal with opening/introductory para in these 2 papers?? for example first 2 or 3 lines should have gist of your stance or this should be at the end of para??

2) in essay paper, how many quotations one should must quote?what if one goes with stronger content but does not quote "quotations" (i do have problem that i can't parrot quotes)
