In a strategy it is important to see the distant things close and take distant view of close things
In a strategy a plan is made/ designed in order to achieve specific purpose. The strategy is vary in its nature. It may be plan devised for economic growth/amelioration or it may be the planning and directing military activities in war etc. The strategies are designed by keeping in view the ground realities as well as thorough observation of minute things.
In a strategy distant things are kept close and their pros and cons are discussed, whereas reflecting distant things the view/ observation of close things should not be overlooked. The close things should be observed/viewed in a broad perspective and their effectiveness, contribution in a situation should be noticed.
Sher Shah Suri, a great Afghan warrior, accepted the harsh and tough conditions laid down by Mughal ruler, Humayun. It was Sher Shah’s strategy in which he preferred the truce rather than to fight. In this way he viewed the distant things close and accepted the conditions. Sher Shah viewed the close thins in broad perspective and allow the Mughal ruler to proceed. As he knows the Humayun, a Mughal ruler, is fond of merry making and lack proper strategy that would subject/ lead to his failure. It was Sher Shah’s strategy which raised him to the exalted position of king.
It infers that the strategies made by observing minute things and thorough consideration subject to success. Therefore, it is mandatory in strategy to see the distant things close and take the distant view of close things.
