Importance of industrialization
Industrialization is the process of producing goods especially through machines. It is this definition that is embodied in the notion of industrialization: tendency to move away to economy based, large scale production of goods by urban workers.Today every thing flows smoothily. Technology changes every day and increases efficiency in production of goods. This efficiency has been achieved through growth of industry since industrial revolution. Even developing countries are motivated to develop industries.John orr said, "Nearly every country today is becoming industrialized as rapidly as it can' Industrialization increases per capital income and also provides employment to a large labour force.Agriculture or any other traditional sector cannot accomodate such a large labour force.there is a lot of population pressure on developing countries.Imported goods are very expensive. Production of variety of goods through local industry is the best soluton. Industrial development in developed countries has brought about a radical change in life.People all over the world flock together to countries with a strong industrial base.America has been called "Land of opportunities" due to its industrial advancement.Production of food through traditional methods cannot satisfy the ever increasing world population.Large scale, rapid production of food through machines is the only way to meet ends. Active defence forces need weapons to check the aggression of enemy.Reliance on imported weapons is risky. Local production of weapons require establishment of heavy industry on priority basis. Large scale industries can be used to support other sectors of the country such as food, agriculture, defence, by mass production of goods at a speedy rate. "The only way to pay debt is to increase industry and raise income,or thrift in laying on" (Thomas carlyte) DA SKEPTIC Sir, thx for the useful post. could you plz try highlighting my mistakes so i could avoid them in future. |

Protecting freedom of expression not lies Freedom of expression comes with responsiblities especially when it comes with serious implications for peace (morsi) The term freedom of expression includes any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used. The right to freedom of expression is recognized as a human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).Does freedom of expression permit lying In practice, the right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any country and the right is commonly subject to certain limitations, as with libel, slander, obscenity, sedition (including, for example inciting ethnic hatred), copyright violation, revelation of information that is classified or otherwise).Lying is morally wrong however is it considered illegal only if your words hurt society at large. This could include "yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater" (or pulling the fire alarm in said theater as an artistic stunt), some hoaxes, selling miracle medical pills as a cure for diseases without testing to make sure the claims are legit, or telling you what's in them, or telling investors in your company that you can double their money in under a month, as long as they keep recruiting more investors. Writing false information on government forms is not protected free speech. Lying in an attempt to deceive the criminal justice system could be either obstruction of justice (if you do it to the police) or perjury (if you do it to a judge). Committing any of these forms of "free speech" could result in serious civil or criminal penalties. To suppress free speech is a double wrong.it violates rights of the hearer as well those of the speaker Fredrick douglas Last edited by Syeda Bukhari; Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 03:40 PM. Adopting unchecked western life style
Every country on the world map is characterized by a culture. So is true for Pakistan, which has always been cherishing its distinct culture. However, in recent times, pakistani culture faces identity crises. This is due to the adoption of unchecked western life style.Excessive westernization has sweeped off the pakistani culture. gandhi said "i do not want my house to be walled on all sides or my windows to be stuffed.i want the culture of all the lands to be blown about my house freely. but i refuse to be blown off my feet by any" The extended and nectar family system, hallmark of pakistani society, is slowly dying off especially in the elite class which are more exposed to the western culture. The younger generation does not care for their aging parents as a consequence, old age homes are being established.Even the meal preferances have changed from chapati and rice to KFC ,mcdonalds and subway. The number of practising muslims are decreasing.NOWADAYS, The number of people going to mosque are few as compared to those a decade ago.perhaps,it is some colonial chip we still carry on our shoulder that focuses us to consider every thing western as cool and hip.perhaps we are still in awe of the white man that we adopt every idiotic trend of west and fail to recognize our own virtue and western ills.our society is rapidly turning into a cell phone craze, ipod hugging, wild eyed bunch of people who are accepting every thing western with glee.every city is divided into a little clutches of westernized people. These people whizz around the highways in new cars, use latest technological innovations, wear creations of italian designers. No matter ,they cannot even pronounce their names properly.Hence, we are a race of people spanning a generation of grandeur, yet we are throwing that off to satisfy a cozy niche in our mind which asks us to produce "asian in blood but, english in taste" A russian novelist ayn Rand said" every aspect of western culture needs a new code of ethics, rational ethics, as a precondition to rebirth" |

4. ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY.
An extraordinary task requires time to complete; it is impossible to accomplish it in a blink of an eye. Success is not achieved in a day. It is achieved by consistency with time. A dream to build a town cannot come to reality in a moment. However, a person can never succeed in gaining his goal if he does not make peace with time. Logically, an author cannot complete his bestseller in a day. It takes him ample time to get to completion. Furthermore, great conquerors took ages in conquering desired place of world. By patience and persistence, they took hold of what they wanted. As Napoleon Hill quotes: “Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.” Achieving miraculous goal is not like beating birds in a bucket. It is a difficult job which can only be performed with dedication and composure, not with hastiness. History abounds with several examples. Pakistan, now a sovereign state, came into being as a result of untiring struggle of many great leaders in almost a century. Their true valor and steadfastness bore fruit in the shape of an independent state. Similarly, our Holy Prophet and his companions worked day and night in spreading the folds of Islam. Islam is not spread in half the world in a moment. To conclude, tremendous patience with time is required to complete a task. A Herculean task cannot be carried out in a day. The more one makes haste, the more it blurs the situation. Rousseau says: “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.” Hence, great works need excessive time in bearing fruitful result. |

When Flatterers get together, Devil goes to dinner!
One of the greatest enemies of a man is the one camouflaged as friend. His tool is sweet flattery.such flatterers reduce the ability of a man to struggle more, and he is trapped in the web of overconfidence. All this is done without him being aware of it. SAMUEL JOHNSON SAID"flattery is like cologne attar, to be smelt only, and not swallowed" The process usually begins when either some one achieves some thing special or the flatterer has vested interest linked with the victim. The next stage is continuous appreciation. It is made sure that the appreciation cross limit of true praise and enters the level of false lauds.Honestly, it is tricky to identify true admirares. Therefore, the victim falls for the trap, and becomes the culprit of flattery, and this culminates in his down fall.Flattery is like cancer, it is diagnosed in its last stage.then the victim needs no one else for demolition, he self destructs himself. Then, the flatterer seem to him as his best friend and slowly take him away from his true friends, who are often critical but helpful in the hour of need. The attacks of flattery are most intense when one is richer and more powerful.Flatterer attacks like white ants who digest furniture of ability and willing of hardwork. Therefore, one should be cautious of such false admirers, remain intact, and not be carried away by false lauds. In additio, it is also important to identify true friends. As ben john son said " of all the beasts, preserve me from a tyrant, of all the tome, from a flatterer" |

you need to show in it that by being poor what success/inspiration can you achieve and how it benefits you. That adversity is a kind of blessing for a person to know his capabilities and will power. A person may also better differentiate between friends and foes in his miserable condition... etc. etc. Once you get the real meaning of statement, you will surely get more than mere points to explain it. Ofcourse, examples and illustrations are major sources of fetching good marks in expansion.

The impossible is often untried
" It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that things are difficult" senenca Time and time again, if we look at history critically, we would find that people who produced phenomenal results have set goals which every body else considered unrealistic, difficult to achieve and beyond reach. If 25 years ago, some body told us that everyone would be walking around carrying a small electronic device, the size of credit card, would we have believed him? we would have labelled him, a dreamer, an unrealistic man and most probably a fool. but here we are carrying a cellular phone most popularly known as a mobile phone. All that was needed to achieve this feat was for somebody to consider the impossible as a possibility-a reality.Similarly, on may 1961,John F Kenneddy, the then american president ,addressing congress, challenged the american scientists to send a man to moon.it was considered an impossible task to send man to outer space, let alone moon. but,the challenge kept coming from the president to the scientists.there and then, the scientists took up the challenge. They started work on it.Nothing can stop a determined mind.Test trials started. On achieving success, they started sending satellites. Later on,scientist sent unmanned space crafts. Finally the fateful day came, when three daring men embarked "mission impossible' boarded Appollo 11,the space craft designed to take the first man to moon. After four days of successful space journey, the astronauts reached near the unknown celestial body. What was to follow revolutionized world wide and transformed the thinking pattern. one of the astronauts, Neil armstrong, took a giant step of faith and jumped off the space craft still in motion and guided himself towards moon. What started off as a thought in mind of J.F keneddy ended up as a reality.Who would have thought this possible before 1969? wonder of wonders. Singaporeans also set an example of accomplishing a task considered impossible. In 1965, when Singapore achieved independence, it had to face myriad of problems. It had limited resources, an illiterate population, and a majority comprising of immigrants. However, the leaders worked diligently with Lee kuan yew, who has been accredited as the architect of singapore's natinal and economic development, and achieved prosperity within a short period of 25 years. As napoleon hill said "if mind can concieve it, heart can believe it, than hands can achieve it". Therefore, one should never lose hope and should think and dream big. |
