Lightbulb last ten surrahs..should we prepare them?
dear all,

i want confirm news regarding last ten surrahs.should we prepare them or not.

they were not asked this year.

plz answer in clear yes or no.

@Gul Niazi,

You should not take risk and prepare the translation of last ten surahs because we frequently recited these surahs in prayers as well. It will be good for us for better understanding and showing more concentration in our prayers, if we know the meaning. Though this question is not included since 2008 but expect the unexpected.

Gul dear!you must prepare them...I agree with you that they didnot ask any question about these surahs in CE 09 and CE 10 but these are included in your syllabus,,so,you must prepapre them...these are not so difficult..

Aik aur baat plz do answer me,

Do we have to write the explanation i mean ''tashreeh'' too or simple translation is required.You know its a 20 marks question.And these surrah's translation is very short.

Aik paragraph aur wo bhi itna short sa.I really dont know whether its sufficient for 20 marks.

Plz tell me whether ''tashreeh'' is required or not.

Dear!you should read their "Tashreeh"or "tafseer"...in paper it depends upon the question...if they ask you about their explaination then you have to write tafseer...there is nothing to worry about this issue.if you have solved uptodate of compulsory Subjects then you can easily cover these surahs and their required explaination.

Transalation of Surahs is 10-marks question. Usually One ayat from each of the ten surahs is given and you are required to only translate it. Each ayat's translation consists of one mark only so they don't ask to explain or make tashreeh of the ayat. But It has been seen for the last two years that translation of surahs was not asked rather the MCQs were asked inplace of this. So you never know what they are going to ask in the paper.
