yes it was year 1920 that quaid azam left comgress, earlier he was member of both the parties i.e: AIML and the congress.

It was 1920 when Quaid leave the membership of congress. It was the result of Gandhi attitude that he showed in Khilafat Movement against muslims.

The QUAID disassociated with Congress because M.K Gandhi had intentions for attainment of self-government by initiating non-cooperation movement and swaraj ( independence) movement that was analogous to motive of Khilafat movement . Quaid did not dis part the congress because of Gandhi showed in khilafat movement against muslims........ Even Quaid himself demurred khilafat movement...
(in swaraj movement actually they intended to protect the killing of cow.)
