Hi,

FPSC Rules for CSS 2010 clearly state that, "If you have result cards, or detailed marks sheet or even transcript, but not your degrees before the cut-off date (02-01-2010), you can apply for the exam. But you will have to produce your degree before the final result is announced." so, your form is acceptable if you attach your result cards.

As far as the spellings are concerned, you must get them correct. FPSC will only object if it finds anything illegal. and, even in that case, they offer candidates some time to do away with such mistakes. so, hopefully u vl get time if FPSC finds something wrong in your documents. meanwhile u should get them right.

Default o level Certificate

Hi,

I have done O and A level, now the form for CSS 2010 says that we need to attach matriculation certificate mentioning the date of birth. In the final checklist it says that attach matriculation certficate mentioning DOB, no provisional certificate/result card/marks sheet.

For O levels I have the statement of result which mentions the DOB), the final certificate with percentages does not mention DOB, and also the equivalence doesnt mention the DOB either.

So exactly which to attach as the O level certificate for DOB?

Hi,

Attach all documents. They will get ur point. n don't worry, FPSC is very helping in these matters though they won't allow any illegal action.

@hassanshariq
I am in a similar situation as you. I called up FPSC today, and the response I got was that you must get a certificate from the principal of the school from where you did your O'Levels bearing that your date of birth is XYZ in their registers.
Apart from that, they are not ready to accept any other proof, not even a Birth Certificate, or certificate from DCO of your district.
I would suggest you to clarify this yourself and avoid hassle later on.

Hi,

the best way would be to write to FPSC, on a plain paper along with your form, that your name has been spelled wrong mistakenly on some of your documents. that you have applied to get them corrected. and attach fotocopies of the receipts you have got when you applied for name correction at the relevant board/university. and that you will correct your new documents as soon as they become available. I believe they won't reject ur form the only way they do so is when their is some illegality in your application. as your form has no problem other than the name correction, it won't affect your chances. People can even change their names after joining the CSA

Purpose of this section in the form is to help out the committee in assessing your expertise and study background. You can best sell your skills by highlighting few of you favorite well prepared but major subjects. You need not enlist all of your subjects. Just mention around three main subjects of your masters / bachelors / intermediate / matriculation. You should highlight those subjects which can fulfill both the conditions 1) major subject and at the same time 2) your favorite (well prepared ).
