Nopes,, it makes it more dubious. It could be a mere action on their part just to deter questions on their reliability. Anyway, this discussion could lead us to nowhere. ALLAH knows better. Buit it was really out of way.

its very dis-appointing to see that some candidates are questioning the credibility of not only FPSC but all those candidates who have performed well and have got good marks .....
every candidate has been through the same checking criteria...... this is what competition is all about....... |

The way it disappoints you, you shall also look at the other side of the coin. Many brilliant candidates had pinned their hopes to this result and no one could be just out of his mind for the sake of fun, but because they are feeling bad about it. Every person has equal right to complain if anything bad happens to him/her. Or else Pakistan is like Orwell's Animal Farm. But its only FPSC for which we held reverence as a sole transparent recruiting institution. Congrats on ur success!

i agree with u crown prince. but i hv observed that this result is being highly appreciated by those who hv got good positions and so equally criticised by those who are not ready to accept the reality that they are outclassed.i m 100% sure that FPSC did well by taking notice of the errors and revising it with more transparency.

in my opinion the fpsc is a sacred institution, free from any sort of corruption. it has revised the merit list to exclude the errors.
i think people who are below in the merit list could not perform well in written or oral portion, so they must accept the result and not cry over split milk. they can prepare well for next attempt. after all CSS is not the end of the world.

I think we must show sportsman spirit and accept the result. This is what competition is all about. This is for the first time that they have mentioned the total marks alongwith the merit numbers. So what else do we want? But one thing FPSC must do is that the number of seats must be raised. Atleast 450 people should be allocated out of 900. Till 2007 there was a shortage of candidates and now they should fulfill that shortage by allocating at least half of the candidates. In 2008, 353 were allocated out of 684 pass candidates. So this time again 450 should get allocation.

@shallowwater
I still think that there are sound resons to object the result .. There are a number of candidates who had appeared for the 2nd or the 3rd time in 2009 exams .. they know what they are capable of ... they know what they did in their last attempts and what marks they got that time ... I fully agree that at times luck also plays its role but how can hundreds of candidates be victims of this so called bad luck ...?????? |

I reinforce the viewpoint expressed by FARISH. It was my second attempt to qualify the written portion with 444th position, while in ce-08 i stood at 309th all over pakistan. I know the difference very well between the two attempts. My heart is not ready to accept the result. It is not I only, but countless of very competent candidates seem to have been disappointed over the CE-09 RESULT. Those who have secured good positions are consoling the rest to accept the result. At least, I ll not acquiese it.! Are the people in FPSC angels? are they exception to being Pakistanis? If one or two persons are disenchanted, they are certainly illusioned, but when many are dissatified, we cannot reject the 'voxpopuli vox dei' !
