Lightbulb My DMS

Candidate Name : OMAR HANIF

Roll No: 13406

COMPULSORY SUBJECTS

Essay 35 ... Unacceptable .. I suspect the examiner must have been under alcoholic influence (Seriously)

English 41 ... Still Unacceptable

EDS 68 ... As Expected

CA 30 ... As Expected

PA 40 ... As Expected

Islamiat 60 ... Should have been higher .. My favourite subject.


And here comes the consequence of faulty subject selection.

OPTIONAL SUBJECTS

Sociology 36 ... Too easy paper but too tough marking.

Journalism 48 ... Can you imagine?

Geography: ... Well deserved, Aakhir Qismat bhi koi cheez hoti hai !
Paper A 48
Paper B 51

US Hist 49 ... Again, despite good preparation and as well a good attempt, Low Score.

Musilm Law 37 ... I am sure the examiner expected us to be some Shaikh-ul-Hadees.


Total Marks : 508

Failed in Compulsory.

So this was my first and last attempt. I attempted the exam with a 3 months study. Took leave without pay. I was so motivated that I was about to resign from the job to devote all my efforts to this exam ... But trillions of thanks to Allaah Almighty that some good friends kept me from doing so. It was just a matter of misfortune that all the optionals I took remained under pressure this year.

I have the remaining two chances but I am not interested in civil service anymore. I'll channelize my efforts somewhere else and succeed insha Allaah.

Need prayers of all you brothers and sisters.

We all are fail at first attempt but this will not going to happen second time.

One think I realized that college standards are different for writings , they just want the answer or asked question , But in CE they want answer in proper way and complete.

Most important thing never ever interpret your own observations about information and thoughts ,and try to use nouns rather then pronouns as we locally do.

Third thing "for current affair everybody look on Dawn and The News newspapers" You gain information but please don't try their style of writing . Because they express in functional way . It is not a Formal English Style which writer follows.

Please do not write in informal way , always use right narration , never include your self in a scene your just viewer from outside not inside of any incident you are writing.

I hope my experience will guide you a lot
