This was my second and last attempt, after viewing the result i feel that fpsc is more inclined towards female applicants or more appropriate would be rata baaz females. I had my masters from umist Manchetser and doing PHD from columbia university USA but i am not good enough to clear css examination acc to these so called babus.
you see the result you will see ten hiras, ten ayeshas, 5 sehrishs.

Default Let the dots connect

Cogito, and all geniuses possessing the perfect material to pass an overrated competitive examination, have a heart. For what is life but a labyrinth of ironies, nudging the man closer to his destiny, bit by bit. So let the dots connect.

Deep down I feel bad and perforated after seeing people of extraordinary caliber failing and people with below average, close-to-normal literary skills and mental acumen passing CSS. But this is how things are supposed to work in an apparently imperfect yet stunningly congruous world.

A genius, a Doctor, struggling and relentlessly trying to get a closed-ended, mentally grueling, ethically controversial place in a system well-crafted by spineless Sahibs, leaving a profession which got the label of the best profession by the greatest Man walked on Earth.

Let the dots connect.

@Cogito. I'm sorry dude, from what I've seen I think you deserved it. And I'd advise you to give it another go. I'm sure being a doc is great too. It's such a shame that it didn't work out. Whatever you decide, good luck, I'm sure you'll do great!

Besides, even if it is accepted for the purposes of illustration that expression is the key determinant (or the only factor!) that counts, a candidate would still need to know a thing or two about the answer - s/he can't just write compete balderdash totally off the topic. And I think merely acquainting yourself with a 'thing or two' of so many things is a daunting task.

Best!
I don't entirely disagree with you, but for what its worth, I'll narrate a true story from CE-2011. A guy I know attempted the essay "The time we live in is the winter of the world". He misjudged completely and thought that the topic was about Global Warming and copied pasted a previously prepared essay about it. He did fail but still got 30 marks . Now anyone who asks "ke kis khatai main 30 number milai" would be justified in asking this, no?

So eloquently put! "Let the dots connect". Right now they look like they are all over the place though.

Default Ce 2015..

I couldn't tame success on my first and die hard attempt. I'm not sure if I'll give it a second try. It's so disheartening..

Same situation, as I have two more attempts and with the change of syllabus by FPSC I am thinking not to appear for CE-2016 and rather go for CE-2017.

I have met many css aspirants in libraries and somewhere else who were saying that we are thankful to css reforms, this time we will clear css because of less competition, but I have judged that this time will be cut throat competition, everyone is trying to fish in troubled water. CE2017 will be normal as before, but CE2016 is really going to be too tough.
