Everyone know that essay paper is most important paper in competitive exam. having strong command on English is necessary for essay but most important thing is your thoughts, ideas, opinion. your decision making level, problem solving skills.
Some people use difficult words but i advice you, always use simple simple and simple english. using of British english is much better than use of American.

I qualified css 2012 but couldn't get allocation. In 2014 failed in Islamist and this time every one is failed in Essay but I m pass but in composition everyone has sailed through but I have drowned. My heart is full of grief since I was stuck in precis question and perhaps that's the reason the examiner has awarded me 39 marks.Kash k mera aggregate 721 na hota n kash mai Essay me he fail hota tau mjy patience aa jata.........

Psy 74+31=105 (1st attempt avg paper 132, 2nd attempt excellent paper 112)
Geo 60+51=111
Punjabi 48 (It was best attempted paper out of all 36 papers in 3 attempts. In my 1st attempt, I scored 70 with avg paper as 4th question was almost out of my reach)
Total
659 1st attempt pass
621 2nd attempt failed in isl
575 3rd attempt failed in essay
Conclusion: "MARZ BHARTA GAYA JUN JUN DAWA KI"

I think luck is first and foremost factor. Then, not following conventional technique of "cause-impact-recommendation" is the reason of failure in essay.
