Its NOT true and It cant be true, coz there are many reasons for that. Govt has already given 7 long years to try for luck, 2ndly new comers need there trun and FPSC wont allow same people to appear time and again. So if you have crossed the age limit, its better to leave ur dream of being CSP, coz every year same rumors about age limit and syllabus room around and people show same zeal for such rumors. so its better to to study for css if you are appearing next year and if you have crossed age limit then leave css business for young generation instead of wasting people's time by posting such CONFIRMED NEWS.

Increasing the age means to accept candidates under 32 as Govt servants, which to me, is not possible or at least is not as easy and simple as it looks .. Thousands of candidates compete every year for CSS, hundreds of them pass and a few allocated .. There's no shortage of eligible and young aspirants, so why to try more & specially those who have tried or at least had the chance to try thrice which they did or for some reason did not .. ? I think this 'confirmed news' is not true .. Regards ..

I don't know why people get offended, I actually don't wana do that .. But truth is what i cannot & must not conceal Bro if govt decides to increase the age limit then we must welcome that .. But the problem is that some people have already started preparing for CSS 2011 & 2012, who are graduates and some who will graduate the next year .. Now, if the age limit is increased so will be the qualification to M.A .. So graduates will have to wait another 2 years to appear and if they do wait and suppose after 2 years govt decides to stick back to old policy, these people who were under qualified as per not yet decided new policy, will be over aged as per the same old policy if it is reversed again .. U see the problem now .. ? Yes it is a competitive exam and merit must prevail & I personally do not feel any problem competing even the 50 years old, I do not feel any problem even competing with the P.H.Ds .. But will there be any certainty in Pakistan .. ? All i want is certainty and fixed rules .. Besides, the comments from people to go for change in policy is not letting anyone to concentrate on preparation .. Another news revolving around the forum is that regional languages are going to be abolished, which also means that I must wait n see if it is going to happen and not to prepare Punjabi in the meantime .. And if at last it turns out to be a rumor, then people won't get enough time to prepare one of those regional languages subject properly .. U see the problem .. ? Quote:

Previously, students, after their Intermediate, used to complete their BA in two years, followed by MA (another two years). Now, however, the system has changed and right after their Intermediate, students begin a four-year degree program after which they're awarded a BS degree. MS takes an additional two years. BA: 14 years of education MA: 16 years of education BS: 16 years of education MS: 18 years of education Can someone shed some more light on the matter please?

@ Ahmed and sara
It will be 16 years of education precisely. Masters is not required. But that policy is not being implemented for css 2011.
MS BS MA BSC honors BSC engineering MBBS LLB MBA All will be allowed to take the exam if 16 years of education is made a rule for taking the exam. |
