@ nazik
Dear iu just called fpsc islamabad and inquired about the chairman's foreign leave and they said that the chairman is still here and expected to go abroad in the mid of this month and then don't know when he will come back. I asked about the meeting about new policy and am told that its NOT confirmed. They don't give out any info. Please members call them and get some info out. If the chairman goes on foreign trip without solving and revising age policy then .... No hope that because then it will be too late.

No proposal for change in ELIGIBILITY criteria for css competitive examination
PR. No. 49
PRESS RELEASE No proposal for change in ELIGIBILITY criteria for css competitive examination Islamabad July 05, 2010 Federal Public Service Commission in an official press release has rejected the reports appearing in the media regarding proposals for change in eligibility criteria for CSS Competitive Examination. In response to the said news, FPSC has clarified that neither such a proposal is under consideration nor a summary has been submitted to the government in this regard. The Commission has stated that approximately 10 to 12 thousand candidates appear in CSS Examination every year and such baseless news create chaos and confusing amongst the educated youth of the country. The Commission, therefore, has advised that the CSS aspirants need not to pay heed to such baseless news and that they should focus on their target. The Chairman urged the media that before publishing such news regarding constitutional and reputed institution like FPSC, facts should be checked from the office concerned and the print and electronic media need to be mindful of the damage such news can do to an institution. Source:http://www.pid.gov.pk/press05-07-2010.htm Now everyone end this debate and concentrate on your studies. Regards, Foreign Secretary |

Well there is no chance of any change in the eligibility criteria for CSS 2011. FPSC has made it very clear in their press release that neither such a proposal is under consideration nor a summary has been submitted to the government in this regard.
The press release was issued to stop the rumors and speculations going on. I will request all those who are eligible (as per the prevailing rules) and preparing for CSS 2011 that don’t pay any heed to such rumors. Just work hard to achieve your goals. Best of Luck. Allah Hafiz. |

It's a good news, because I'll complete my BS in 2013 and will have bachelor's Degree in 2011. So I will be eligible for CSS Exam in 2012. Now I can concentrate without any doubt on my CSS preparation. Foreign Secretary, thanks for update.
