Default the funny contradictions about the interview preperation.

When an" expert" mentioms the do's and don'ts of the interview he or she mentions that never lie and be honest. As honest as you can. As they will know that you are lying and it goes against you in the interview. Then he or she mentions guides you about as to how to answer their questions. And what kind of answers you may give. Eg they would suggest that if you are questioned about your weaknesses you must turn your weaknesses into possitivity and prepare your answer for that. This is hilarious. I mean how on earth is that honesty????? Lol wouldnt they know that you are bluffing and merely trying to impress them?? There are psychologists in the panel. I mean either youre honest or you are not. The people guiding about the interviews are contradicting their own views. They should either exclude the condition of honesty or they should exclude other suggestions about adding flavour to your answers.

My question is how on earth can you be honest in an interview when you are making up stuff in your answer. That just goes against the definion of the word "honesty" its strange that even our honesty is drived by hypocrisy. Would anyonr like to comment on this? Please be logical if you disagree.

It's not unhonest to convert your weaknesses into your strengths. It's whether you BELIEVE your argument to be true.

The psychologists will judge your body language and if you are really convinced that you are aware of your weaknesses and manage them properly, it will go down well in their books.

E.g. if someone asks me about my memory retention capability I will say that instead of relying on memory alone I leverage my analytical capabilities and approach things conceptually. It helps me to solve problems and apply rules and regulations in a more fruitful manner than merely remembering the details.
