Sir, my preparation was not - what they call - suitable for taking CE. I didn't get any recommended book, just went to the newly opened Capital Book in G-9 Markaz, Islamabad, and bought this book which had the recommended topics of Int. Law in it. I don't remember its name now but will tell you .

Seriously Doc, you have passed CE once and for you there won't at all be a bit of difficulty to get over it. Real prob is for people like us, you know nut-headed. I had solved the previous Five CSS Int. Law papers and managed to do great in both Objective and Subjective types. I did not give this subjet more than a month Luckily, CE 2010 Int. Law paper was very easy. In fact, I was at a fork in deciding between questions to attempt.

If you can have a good grip on these 25 questions mentioned above, I'll guarentee you need not to worry about Subjective part. Objectives usually are taken from the chapters. You can have a book for objectives, but it can also puzzle and confuse you.

Best of luck, sir.

Regards.

there is no need to prepare 25 questions . You can have a good paper with 12-13 questions. take two to three books and make your own notes.it will take you maximum 15 days and while preparing notes for 2-3 books you will have a good grip on the questions and it 65% will be learnt.remaining 35 % will remain very easy. and it will be very easy for you to revise through those notes.

Well i do not appreciate the above-said strategy of my fellow member that he didnt follow any good book or plan cz this tendency ruins the aspirant's view towards exam. It may be your good luck this time but not necessarily for every one everytime. Hope you got me.

I like your confidence dude!!! MAY Allah help you in it. I. Law questions must be attempted in headings and they must be to the very point avoiding your own added material in it cz its LAW.... Objective is not much in material avilable for International law, however you can prepare objective by attempting past papers objectives or buying some objective book.....cz sometimes I.Law's Objectives becomes a key problem...

Appreciated. Because I wanted just to share my own situation, while I was going to appear in CE-2010. I didn't mean to offer to other members to do what it did. Every person has his own situation, completely diffferent from others, unique and formidable. There are many a reasons for a person not to prepare well or not to be able to prepare well. Mine were serious. Simply, I couldn't give it my best shot. However, still, with the grace of Almighty Allah, I managed to get some luck in Int. Law. Maybe my multidiverted preparation got result afterall.

I did follow a plan, without planning you can get nothing, as it is said

So, I did have a plan. Simplest but effective. That was to follow the routine, pick most important questions out of previous CE papers and get them! Also I don't agree with you that I didn't have a good book, I said I have an unknown book. After all, good stuff isn't always in the best and renowned books only. My book was good enough to give me what I needed at that time, therefore its the best book for me. I didn't want to get myself confused in the maze of multiple books, my idea was Opt one but comprehensive.

Luck is as necessary as hard work. Both strengthen each other.

Regards.

There was nothing personal against you my dear, I jz, being a little senior to you, thought to instrcut you to give the juniors ideas that they should follow....Otherwise i can better understand the problems i faced while i attempted in 2010. But what if you are being asked about it? I thought I should honestly share my stance when I was inquired about it. I appreciate your fulfilling your responsibility endowed because of your seniority.

Nothing personal taken. What was there to mind???
