Flood is a natural phenomenon, however its intensity can be controlled to some extent through better Watershed Management techniques in the catchment areas of the rivers.

The govt had a golden oppertunity to include as much hydropower energy projects in the CPEC as possible. As it would not only help towards fulfilling the energy needs of the country but would also work as water reservoirs and help during flood season. Instead we got extreamley high cost solar projects and environmentally unsustainable thermal and coal power projects.

(i)Lack of coordination between India and Pakistan,(ii) corruption, poor efficiency, lack of accountability and mismanagement, (iii)geographical location of Pakistan in the world, (iv) and finally Nature are the main causes of flood in Pakistan.

It is useless to blame india that its actions are major cause nevertheless it is a major reason but pakistan is standing at a crossroad, Government should think about dams seriously.every time debates are made but no action is taken regarding it.

Climate change is one of the biggest cause of floods in most of south asian countries! Dont take it as a minor cause!

You have just hit the nail on it's head. Rising temperatures is the biggest reason of floods besides poor governance, water politics and lack of cooperation among concerned authorities e.t.c.
So why do you think west is talking so much about climate change? It is because they know the consequences as they have already witnessed in developing world especially Pakistan.
