Age Relaxation! Our Right!
Dear fellas i guess many of you, like me, would like FPSC to revise its current age policy for 2011.Already many members have posed questions about it and others have commented but no progress so far.There are rumors that FPSC will change its age policy soon but in Pakistan policies are not revised all by their own, as is obvious from the restoration of judges who were restored through a long march and many hardships.You gettin my point dear? Its not that easy that we will keep sittin in our homes and they will gift us age relaxation for free, WAKE UP!
SO we must raise our voice through newspapers, TV channels, every possible means of communication becoz wot stupidity is that students are stopped from competitive exams just becoz of their ages? It was President Musharraf`s decision to bring the age of eligibility from 30 down to 28.Then it was dictatorship and now its democracy and democracy means government of the people, by the people and for the people and WE ARE THE PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN rather the future of pakistan so rules must be changed if we require so.Dictatorship is gone so should its rules. If they could bring out NRO to defend corrupt politicians and officials in the government, If President Musharraf could use the constitution of pakistan to his advantage, why cant we innocent and cute students be given a couple of years more to compete and make our futures better? Lets wake up, join hands and make active efforts for our right. |

doctor is right ...........we agree
Doctor has rightly mentioned very important point that .......we must struggle to get our basic right.............for the students acquiring their master degrees the age relaxation must be given upto 35 years.............let us join the hands and make a strategy to project our demand effectively ........

@ all
Why 30 or 35 then? Why not 40? At 30 people at 31 won't be happy. I will be at advantage if the age limit is relaxed, but i don't believe in doing something that just help a selected few. Masters is not a reason good enough to relax the age limit. As people are done with their bachelors at age 22 or 23. And they have ample time to do masters and appear in the examination. |

I also think there is no need of any age relaxation, current rules are completely OK. Democracy doesn't mean to relax the set rules for some selected people.

I agree with mr. Zaheer, there is a lot of csps who are professionals and
m.phil. Age 35.or 40 will bring Ph.Ds, then it wont be an easy task for young ones to compete with them. |

Please don't insult basic rights of people by bringing this type of matter. When they say kids don't have basic rights in Sudan Or Zimbabve , according to your point of view , they must have been talking about age relaxation for CSS exam . Give me one good reason why they should provide you with age relaxation? Is it their fault that over aged peeps didnt appear before? Y didnt they appear earlier? ************ Last edited by Andrew Dufresne; Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 09:50 AM. |

Age relaxation
this is the basic rule of competative exams that all are given equal oportunities why not age can be relaxed from 30 to 35 years.....? so that a good stuff can also induct,who had spent their time in studying and higher education. so....age must be relaxed up to 35 years for a healthy competition.

@falconer
Why you want to limit it at 35 then? The service itself gives you plenty of opportunities to pursue higher education. Lot of people go during their service for higher education. It shows one's lack of career planning, if he decides to appear in the exam at the age of 35. Equal opportunity already exists. Talking about basic rights and equal opportunities for all is mere rationalization of one's failure to plan. |
