Default Gov. Punjab Salman Taseer killed in Islamabad
Governor Punjab Salman Taseer has been declared dead in a murder attempt on him in Kohsar Market, Islamabad. The earlier news said that it was a blast but now it is clear that it was a target attempt. His driver rushed towards Poly Clinic but he couldn't survive. It is said that an Elite Force Officer named Qadri opened fire at him, said to be in the same car Governor was! He received 9 bullets, 3 in chest, 3 in neck and 3 in stomach, fired barely from a metre away.

So sad. I once worked in his company under his son Shan Taseer and had a wonderful experience. I liked Salman Taseer for his unbiased and enlightened views.

May Allah punish his killers and give patience to his family and friends.

Allah Pak gharq karay un logon ko jo Islam or Jihad ke naam pe fitna or fasaad phela rahay hain. Same goes for their supporters and sympathizers.

RIP Salman Taseer.
