The Americans tried to attack Canada, but the attack was repulsed and Washington was burned to the ground.

Why do you assume that the Holy Cities will be destroyed in a war with America? They weren't when the Ottomans took control. Saudi Arabia and the Holy Cities are not one thing. I'm sure you know that they have changed hands various times in the course of history. And id Saddam hadn't faced any opposition in the First Gulf War, he would have dared to attack Saudi Arabia in a couple years!

And BTW, lets imagine that the US conducts bombing runs over Saudi Arabia and uses missiles to target civilian as well as military areas, but doesn't actually put any boots on the ground. What will Muslim countries do, then? Will they gather in Riyadh and protest?
In 1812 Britain was actually at war with Napoleon, and Americans were playing the same bully role they are playing till today, i.e. trading with Napoleon's France that supported Napoleon's war effort. The British did all they could to stop that trade and Americans expansion attempts in British colonies in Canada, they supported Indian raids, they placed naval blockade, impressed American sailors etc. But what does that has to do in this topic, you seem to be too impressed by American military capabilities, whereas in reality they are just a bunch of cowardly playboys who require technology and support of the world world to fight against one poor isolated enemy who stands in the way of their business. In today's geopolitical scenario and the way wars are waged with modern toys, holy lands and Saudi Arabia are not separate. If Americans are so macho, they should attempt a sortie on holy cities and find out. Maybe you have lost faith in Allah (SWT) but I haven't.

So the Americans were bullies? Britain had no right to stop the Americans from trading with France.

.

So having technology and friends is wrong? Maybe we should scarp our atomic project, destroy all our missiles and give swords to the Pak Army. Oh, and no tanks; we'll use chariots instead.

You haven't really answered my question so I'll narow it down. What will Muslims do if Americans bomb Riyadh? Come to think of it, why didn't any Muslim country interfere during the conflict in Yemen (which is part of the Arabian Peninsula)?

What would you say to this, Americans have no right to stop Iran or North Korea from getting nuclear technology when they themselves have it.............

Having technology and friends is good, but if you are using them to control resources in others' lands and forcing everyone to adopt your culture and accept your values while you will not accept anything than you must face the music as well .

I am not a psychic dear, I am just daring Americans to do that , they will find out what their worst nightmare is in reality, (or atleast we will find out what are we after all ). That will be the start of World War III my friend, which will end with the destruction of Americanism, not Islamism (Americanism is belief of hand full people, Islam is much bigger than that).

Imbecile nations with wrongfully acquired Nuclear technology should be forbidden from making weapon grade Nuclear material. Especially when they're openly stating how they're going to wipe out other nations from the surface of the earth.

Well Americans also do the same thing, they lied to invade Iraq and Vietnam (Gulf of Tonkin incident, used as a pretext for war, was proved a hoax lateron), killed millions and destroyed both nations. How can we then categorize who is imbecile and who is 'responsible'...... US also invades any country where its corporate interests lie, why are they not imbecile and others are.....

How the hell are NK and Iran related to the War of 1812? America is a bully today; there no denying that, but they worked hard to get into position to actually be able to bully someone. Not everyone can be a bully.

For now only countries with backwards traditions like Pakistan are facing the music. The Arabs will face it too, when their oil runs out. Yemen and Syria are shining examples of what oil rich middle eastern nations will become when the black gold runs out.

At least Americans don't have half of their population starving like North Korea.

There definitely are good things that people learn from other people, but that doesn't mean we should start living in a superiority or inferiority complex. Americans are the same human beings like Timbuktuans. Somethings about them, the society, the civilization, the country they have built are good that we must learn, and somethings are bad that must be noticed....

Americans are living on the edge as well. Just wait and watch as the competition grows and their share of global market dwindles. American people will act far more uncivilized in the face of an economic crunch. That is what is bothering their government at the moment and they are in a frenzy to firm their grip on resources before that happens.

Actually, Pakistanis do need a reality check since its abundantly clear that our stone-age mentality will eventually lead us to ruin. Urgent and radical reform is required.

Please explain how America will suffer economically with the rise of other players. The problems faced by the American economy today are a result of mismanagement, not other countries. The rise of China and India (and Brazil) means that America will no longer wield as much power as it does now, but it will not hurt America economically. In fact, increased trade will only serve to make everyone richer.

Having said that, there will be a lot of competition over scarce resources and unless alternative forms of energy are developed, all major world economies will suffer.

And finally, America never was and never will be as poor as NK is.
