As far as i know from different news paper that they have some pension and finanacial issues so in current circumstamces they think that new recruitment is just a burden on already financialy weak organization

Same old story. In April ,Public procurement regulatory authority (PPRA) announced multiple jobs like EOBI through NTS.And then was ultimately cancelled.I believe they do it deliberately to make money as scores of people apply for such jobs.May be petitioner would have been instigated by Eobi themselves; who knows if Eobi will pursue this legal case wholeheartedly.

This argument by the petitioner is so weak, given that the positions were opened on the 1st placed because there must've been need of staff to do whatever work is needed to be done. I've been talking to some people who've experience working in govt sector, and they don't see this stay lasting long.

But who knows again, post cancellations and what not happen all the time here. Such a disappointment.

Sister, that's the dilemma of government servants. During service, staff unions put enormous pressure on administration through strikes not only to raise their salaries but also cause hurdles in new recruitment by demanding the promotions of senior employees. Same mentality remains alive even after retirement and they start to demand increase in pension. I hope that the Hon'ble Chief Justice of IHC will order EOBI to settle the pension dispute and complete the process of recruitment as soon as possible in the best interest of justice. The careers of candidates can't be put at stake.

I've become accustomed to such setbacks during the past few months; except Fpsc all the others jobs announced by Pts. nts, & ots rarely complete the recruitment process. In Nacta too a lot of jobs were announced but are still pending for long .It is the discretion of a dept to cancel jobs any time without assigning any reason

This discretionary power amounts to injustice. Despite the tall claims of transparency from NTS, PTS, OTS, CTS and other testing services of same nature, nepotism wins in most cases. You are right that those testing services along with the departments seeking employees have become tools to grab money from thousands of applicants. The candidates should also file writ petitions against such moral and financial corruption in disguise of recruitment.
