Being an electrical power engineer and despite the fact that i passed the test not with as high marks as electronics engineers did, its totally unfair to blame NTS & NTDC for crafting a test specially designed for favouring electronics engineer. An electrical power engineer do study feedback Control system, basic electrical engineering, state space analysis, ac & dc machines, transformers, power system analysis, mathematics, basic electronics, applied electronics, power electronics, basic communication system. Though it was a tough race for electrical engineers to cross the line with flying colors but it was not impossible for them to pass the test. Its unfair to take the credit away from electronics engineer. Don't lose hope its not the end of the World, Hard work always pays off, just believe in Allah and keep doing hardwork.

no matter what there is always Chatur (here you) like character in every engineering university. there is a thing which is called fairness, just cross your heart and tell us was this test fair or according to the criteria which was mentioned in NTS . buddy this is not the first test we are giving in any organization so we know what kind of questions are related with our field and what are not.... NTS is taking test of Luck instead of knowledge kuen k jis k jitnay tukay ziyada lagay wo jeta

Dear Mais,
In sample paper it was clearly mentioned that that will be comprised of electrical/ electronics related to the post and sorry to say that it was blunder of NTS as this test was not in any case related to the post. So, NTS is solely responsible for this injustice. If they cannot differentiate between telecommunication and electrical engineering, they should not conduct tests in future. It is totally rubbish to include CDMA, antenna and all these type of questions in this test. you can watch sample paper instructions on nts website.

The paper distribution for jr. Engineer uploaded by NTS clearly mentioned that questions will be related to job so reading about communications/signals and system/ DSP , was useless. Almost majority of candidates prepared for test based on that statement from NTS. And sure many power engineers would have passed the test but these were all TUKKA's they hardly reach 60 marks which as the result gets out will be useless cause ELECTRONICS engineer's would have gotten moRe.

NTS should have not made that statement than one might have atleast brushed up on some electronics/communication topics !!
