as we all know whatever NTS or other departments all are slaves of people in power and unfortunately this is really a big drawback for us engineers. wel hope the best

This is incredibly frustrating that NTS just 5 days remaining for the test announced the marks weightage. It would have been alot beneficial if they would have done that 2 weeks ago. Now i have to focus on getting quick knowledge about GK in 3 days

Do not expect 100% merit from WAPDA.
WAPDA is very well known to us.
Furthermore we all know that how NTDC recruited engineers back in 2011.

But good thing is that now, as the test is conducted by NTS, some seats would definitely be on merit.

don't worry guys

This is standard pattern of Wapda tests.
17 marks for GK/CA/PS
83 marks for technical.

and u have to pass both to qualify.

it is good that NTS have mentioned it because it is different from their set pattern. i.e 50% GAT and 50% Technical.

so buckle up and prepare for test, do no indulge in unnecessary details.

I appeared in NTDC 2011 test and that time I cleared the test and was not selected after interview because 52 (parchi wala) candidates were selected and that scandal was highlighted by DAWN at that time.
this time the test made by NTS is as usual equivalent to SHIT , i really don't know what is the qualification of that person who makes electrical engineering test. i think he just copy paste the question from internet... today three question were related with mercury rectifier WTH
