Question 1 year contract
These posts are on 1 year contract basis. Sharif govt. usually lays off contract employees when the term of contract is over. I am an employee of federal govt, although in a dept. unrelated to my engineering field, but a permanent one. Should I still go for NTDCL?

You must avail the opportunity . NTDCL is a good orgnization and a paradise for Electrical Engineers. it is for sure the contract employees will be permanent after one year. even if you are satisfied in ASF you must take chance and appear in test. you can never know where the things might go at the eleventh hour.

Assalam o alakum

can anyone tell me the test pattern of junior engineer (electronics) at NTDC.
if anyone had given such test in the past or have a knowledge in this connection then u r requested to share ur knowledge/experience.

Naveed ahmed will please tell us about pattern and the area of course for electrical engineer . and which book will be good for Electrical engineer to read before appearing in exam

In earlier test around 150-160 candidates were selected as per approved quota. However this time the figure isnt confirmed but possibly there are ample seats.

When the earlier test was
carried out by ntdc pattern was of gk and professional.lets wait for the nts syllabus. Strong possibility is that same trend will be followed.

You may cover the core areas of generation and transmission along with electrical machines ac and dc.some question related to battries,electronic devices ie transistors amplifiers oscillators. Also give a look at networks theorems and ckts

Grab any mcqs book of electrical engg but before it read the syllabus descriptively.

Furthermore be in touch with current affairs. Rest depends upon luck.

I have given NTDC test two times before and cleared and called for interview but could not get through.

appearing again.

book of Handa is sufficient. In any Wapda test u can trust Handa.
