Subject: Notification & Guidelines Regarding Shortlisting for HEC Scholarship Project titled “Overseas Scholarship for MS/MPhil Leading to PhD in Selected Fields Phase-II” Batch-5 (Bilkent University)

We are pleased to inform that you have been shortlisted for the interview under the HEC project titled “Overseas Scholarship for MS/MPhil Leading to PhD in Selected Fields Phase-II” Batch-5 (Bilkent University), subject to the following conditions:
1. The mentioned scholarship is valid only for spring 2014 academic session.

2. You will have to timely secure & provide us the “Admission offer letter” from the Bilkent University in your relevant discipline and field of study by maximum February 28th, 2014.

3. As per your relevant qualification you must have to take admission either in MS leading to PhD program or in PhD program.

4. You have to fulfill the entire requirements mentioned by the Bilkent University for admission, which may include GRE/GMAT & IELTS/TOEFL etc.

5. You are advised to visit the web sites of above mentioned universities and start yourself prepare to apply for coming admissions for the Spring 2014 academic session in the Bilkent University.

6. The ‘Acceptance Letter/Admission Offer letters’ must be sent to the saaziz@hec.gov.pk.

7. Non provision of the Admission offer letter will automatically cancel the candidacy.

Important Note: It is pertinent to mention here that all future correspondences will be made through e-mail; therefore, you are strongly advised to check your e-mails (inbox & junk folder etc.) on regular basis. Please inform the PMU if you have changed your e-mail ID.

Me too received same copycat email and they don't know Bilkent Univeristy don't offer admission in srping 2014 in Int't Relations! "1.The mentioned scholarship is valid only for spring 2014 academic session."

I know. I replied them back that they don't offer admissions in Spring 2014 in Economics. Let's see...

My field is Business Administration (Finance) what is your field? From which university you got admission letter.

By the way, you need not to worry about medium of instruction, I talked to Mr. Sohail on telephone, He told me that for PhD students, medium is not important. it is important for masters candidate.

received same email. Business Admin department is also not offering admission in Spring Semester and I also informed about that to Mr. Suhail before this email. dont know why he sent us this email despite of knowing that Spring admission is not possible for us.
yes its HEC fault. we all have to send emails to HEC regarding our problem.

Dear Mr. Ahmad Jamal,
We are pleased to inform that you have been shortlisted for the interview under the HEC project titled “Overseas Scholarship for MS/MPhil Leading to PhD in Selected Fields Phase-II” Batch-5 (France), subject to the following conditions:
1. You will have to provide the “Acceptance Letter” from a French Supervisor only in French Public Universities in your relevant subject by maximum October 31st, 2013. The ‘Acceptance Letter’ must be sent to the saaziz@hec.gov.pk

2. The PhD program must be in English because HEC will not arrange French Language courses.

3. Along with ‘Acceptance Letter’, you will also provide other documents must be forwarded in one PDF file to the undersign on saaziz@hec.gov.pk
· Updated Resume’/CV
· Scanned copies of your all Educational Documents

It is further informed that the interview schedule is still to be finalized; however, interviews are likely in the end of this year 2013. The final interview schedule will be communicated to you once confirmed.
