You cannot apply on the basis of NTS score. GRE International has to be taken for this scholarship. NTS (GAT) has nothing to do with it.

Yes, 3 years of work experience required only for MBA applicants ; not for any other field.

The Fulbright Scholarship program for Pakistan has opened its 2014 applications from prospective applicants in Pakistan.

For those of you who do not know, the Fulbright program is fully funded by the US government. it is awarded to deserving Pakistani applicants for pursuing a Masters or a PhD. program in the U.S. The monetary benefit of this scholarship is huge. It covers everything from tuition fees to insurance to books as well as paying a monthly stipend that ranges from $1000 to 2500. You are also given an air ticket for travel to the U.S.

In order to apply for the Fulbright program, you must ensure that your complete application along with the required documents reaches the USEFP by May 15, 2013. Approximately 200 students will be selected for this scholarship.

Since the start of this program several years ago, over 4,000 Pakistanis have gone to the U.S. for their higher studies.

Minorities, women, students from FATA and Balochistan are highly encouraged to apply. Energy, public policy, and water are preferable fields. All disciplines are allowed to apply except for Clinical medicine.

Here are a few basic things that you must fulfill in order to be eligible for this scholarship:
  1. Complete Fulbright application form
  2. 3 Letters of recommendation
  3. Statement of purpose also known as personal statement.
  4. GRE scores

Do remember that Fulbright has the world's largest scholarship program for Pakistani students, so you have a strong chance of getting through :-)
If you have any further questions, do let me know!

Good Luck!
Where can I get letter of recommendation.

Letters should be 2 academic references written by your professors under whom you worked for a considerable duration of time.

Last date to take the GRE is by the 5th of May. The deadline for FB is 15th May. Scores take 10 days to reach the FB committee....

5th May is the last by when you should take your GRE...aim for something in the range of 155-160 in both quant and verbal

for best preparation use a multitude of resources such as Barrons, Kaplan, Princeton review and ETS official guide....make sure you read voraciously and you read from good sources such as economic and newyork times....reading is the key to getting a good GRE sscore for the verbal section
