Has anyone received original acceptance letter from METU? All I have so far is an email confirmation (from METU) and a HEC's final award letter (PDF from HEC) is it going to work for processing of visa or I have to secure aforementioned documents in origional?

I emailed HEC for their advice on following dates so we can apply the VISA accordingly.

1) What is the last date of reporting to Middle East Technical University (METU)?
2) What is HEC's planned travel date to Turkey (when HEC is purchasing tickets) for candidates for Middle East Technical University (METU)? So we can ensure that our VISA starts before that.

Mr Jamshaid Responded;

"You my find the answers of your questions if you check with university. When the classes will start and when you will be there.

I will only guide you that you may start for your visa. Submit your visa to HEC then HEC will proceed you in last week of August, 2013."

Then I approached my Program advisor in METU and he referred me to ESRA TUZEN. She has not yet answered.

At the moment, I think we should stick to their academic calender 2013-2014

Dear Thanks for your reply. I will suggest we should go in 1st week of september, because it's mention that one have to come before two weeks of classes.
Regarding your question, yes you can apply with the email letter for visa.

salam to every body ... i am first time in forum .. i just have some question.. need help so plzzz.
i applied ms leading to Phd in both 90% as well in Faculty development scholarship. my nts score is 66 and gpa 3.6 while my field of study is business education .. Domicile kpk....

my queries are
1 . there is any possibility that i will get scholarship .
2. should i do IELTS now or after scholarship merit announcement .
3 and last did GMAT or GRE is compulsory for admission .

HEC only took photocopy of original attested degrees. but i think it is better to also have some photocopies attested by HEC and MOFA as embassy may require them for visa.

also hec only required photocopy of medical certificate and character certificate they give you original back for visa purposes.
