wasn't it a practice by hec to mention the names of these two unis in the add? this time they did not and had not write any names of the uni so I was wondering maybe they have increased the unis ? in case of germany, they also didnot write any names.

For germany, universities are not mentioned and selection is done through DAAD. For USA, these two universities were also mentioned in the ad. I told them I have admission in another US university but they clearly stated that they had MoU with these two universities and no other university was acceptable. So, I turned down their offer and opted for Turkey instead.

I applied in optoelectronics and photonics program and went through the process of interview as well.
@SRsoomro Can you kindly confirm that now we can apply for visa after sending documents to hec asked in provisional letter or should we wait for the university admission announcement.

Dear, For Visa we have to present Acceptance Letter from university & Advance Air Ticket before Embassy, I think HEC's letter will only serve as an alternative to bank statement or source of funding.

So HEC has emailed us the award letters after they have received confirmation from university.
