UESTP scholarship is not as competitive as the 90% oversease scholarship because it is only for a limited number of disciplines.
Last year, I was among the top most candidates and was selected for direct PhD in Italy with only 79 marks in NTS test and later on some guy with only 65 was shortlisted MS leading to PhD for Germany. Turkey was not in the list but some candidates are also sent to Turkish Universities as I know about one with only 62 marks....
Don't bother much, HEC will contact each shortlisted candidate and will ask to apply in a specific university selected by HEC...Initial shortlisting is based on NTS Marks only...

Be Optimistic but don't have higher expectations because last year only 1700 people applied for UEST Fac Dev Program but this year, the candidate will overnumber with a greater margin...

Best of luck to all of you

Does HEC take responsibility of admission on the basis of GAT or we have to secure/appear in above mentioned tests separately?

If you hvae attached the IELTS etc result card with application form thn HEC will allocate you country where those tests are required otherwise HEC will allocate countryz where IELTS etc are not required like China, Italy, Germany, Austria, Korea.
so the country allocation will depends upon IELTS etc tests score .

As far as the last year case was, HEC Short lists candidates on the basis of GAT score only. So the top listed candidate will be short listed for the countries where the universities are offering admission earlier...

I have heard in UESTP HEC do not conduct interview just ask the shortlisted candidates to get admission in the Universities Selected by HEC......If student do not secure admission in the given university HEC give him other choice

Should we wait for the result card and then send it to HEC i.e. after April 18 or can we take a print out of HEC online result and send it to the relevant authorities

Default guidance required (From Noor Ahmed and other senior members)

i have got 51 marks in GAT General. My domicile is from sindh rural. What are my chances for this scholarship? I have done MBA in HRM with 18 years of education.

Secondly my previous Gat general score was 52, that is 1 mark greater than this time score. Can I send my Old result card as it is still valid. I appeared in GAT again to improve my result but could not able to do this. Does HEC will object if i send my old but not expired result card? Would they ask me that why I did not submit that card with the application form? I wanted to improve but I have loosed 1 mark that from 52 to 51?

Respected Member please guide me I am really confused right now. Your guidance is badly needed.
