I don't know. Doesn't seem possible with random cnic's. Softwares work on sequences in this case we would be having different batches that are to be entered manually. Makes the task quite hectic The_Engineer |

I think its foolish thought that scholarships will be awarded according to scores rather than discipline wise .. every discipline had different paper with different difficulty level.. mostly people achieve 70+ marks from engineering and after that commerce management group and there is no one from Sindh who secure more than 67 in social science group because analytical portion of social science paper was too difficult to solve and it constitutes 30% of paper.

It may seem foolish but it is what that's happening. Only top scorers will be selected irrespective of discipline. The_Engineer |

Rather it'd be foolish to think other way as it is the trend followed by IPC for many years....

Rubbish process. If that was the case, they should have opted for a test like GAT GENERAL. Why to take different test for different discipline if they will consider top aggregate marks ( should be disciplinewise as far as i am concerened)

Lets for a moment agree that your argument is correct, then by same argument question books of different color can have different difficulty level, but you don't complain on that!
Second argument that there should have been GAT General, if I remember correctly it has 40% analytical, 30% quantitative and 30% English. Isn't it foolish to ask quantitative questions to medical and languages students? Also you didn't complain when engineers were tested in 19 core areas whereas social sciences were only tested in 4. Engineers ko itna halka na lo :p |

Exactly, precisely analyzed Fahadk...actually IPC wants to unload burden in more or less publicly explicit manner .For this sake they organize a test where they adjust diversity of students in a few apex fields (where each field in fact has myriads of sub-fields) ..I did in Agriculture and confronted question from biology/Veterinary and from around all the subjects which remotely have any connection with Agri....
