I have a query if you may reply;
I got 66 marks in this test and have a domicile from KPK, I gave the test at ISB, discipline is AGRICULTURE. The list you mentioned for KPK has last guy with score 63 in agri;here is not my roll Number although I have 66 marks

Your merit position will probably be between 40 and 55 in KPK.

thanks bro it means chances are less :-)
I decided never again to apply for Commonwealth Sch: and Cultural Exchange Sch:
seems really GUP SHUP.... criteria is so ambiguous I want to do a Phd in Plant Breeding & Genetics but NTS takes a test containing MCQS of all departments of AGRI, some of them I never studied in whole my Uni life. same is with Engineering students.It seems to me a just a fund raising Scheme for NTS. Even IPC never receives your call. Last year they told me merit of agri 72, to my another friend 73, to one else 70.....
totally waste Time & Money.

It's not GUP SHUP at all, the process seems clear as crystal if you go through all of previous year's threads. In my case first I gave the test, checked my marks and then searched to find what this is all about. Took me about 4,5 sleepless days to read about each and every bit of information available on internet about this scholarship. My first statement about the test to my parents was same as yours as I have also encountered questions of chemical engineering and metallurgy, I was like what the hell!

Later I realized its not possible any other way. I still may or may not get this scholarship but can say it seems fair to me. Applicants decline and sometimes change their mind after declining, number of available scholarships also change, so I think that's the reason for telling different merits.

If you don't want to go through NTS/IPC then world is not over for you, you can always apply directly to Chinese universities for Chinese government scholarship and also in other countries. Best of luck!

As far as I have heard, IPC is a clean department and their procedure is fair!

i called in and they told me that my merit is 6th in KPK ...!!! i got 74 marks in the test ..!!!

I called and they told me I have got highest marks in quota of Sindh (Urban). However, my domicile is of Sindh (Rural). I asked him whether this will create any problem he said "filhaal koi problem nahin". So will this create any problems?
