If merit is not reduced, then 28 august is the last date for subject change

Dear the confirmation of optional is just to click the save optional subjects tab at the end of the list after being chosen, right?? coz i didnt get any confirmation or any tab that suggested the subjects have been confirmed, kindly shed some light.
