You failed in forestry?
I thought KPK PMS follow the same rule as that of CSS that when a candidate scores more than 600, he is declared as pass even if he/she fails in one of the optionals.

yeah so unfortunate..but could you plz let me know under which rule does the fpsc declares the above quoted thing? cos I was asked to find that out#-o

ArifAwan i have heard the pms have changed their rules and that is why one cannot do anything. is that true?

ohhh my God...I didn't think about this rule...
My total are 596 and F in Public admin...

Dude, every one knew about you... When I visited KPK PSC then met many personnel. Most of them knew about your case and also one personal mentioned your name that one person(Mr. Arif) scored more than 800 marks but failed in essay with only 2 marks... Really, very bad luck & bad scene with you...: )

Yes, PSC has come hard upon candidates this time. Previously there was a provision for grace marks but this time it was notified even in the Advertisement for PMS exam in august 2010 that grace marks will not be given. I cannot quote a particular instance but there was some thread on this forum regarding this one optional fail rule. Please go through the past DMS sections.

rules of khyber pakhtunkhwa PSC for PMS are as under

No candidate shall be summoned for Viva voce test unless he has
obtained at least 33 percent marks in each optional subject, 40% in the each
compulsory subject and 50% marks in the aggregate of the written portion of the Examination.

so, you got about 651 marks. yor are nor failed in compulsory, nor optional nor failed in aggregate. whats the logic behind your problem?
