When is your interview?

also, what about your australia study tour?

interview went well on 19 and did very well.but like mashwane there were some unusual questions also like out of course or just general things.i wanted to ask that whether knowledge is the only thing in interview?
and australia study that has been delayed for about a year.

yeah interview questions were like islamic history though i didnt have islamic history as my optional.managing finance though m having HR in specialization,ahmad shah abdali, aurangzeb, who was gililio,wat about the immamate theory in islam,bugdet deficit,population of pakistan and of peshawar.
and current issues were not much discussed.

how much time was taken in the interview. and what was the mode of communication

Time was about 30 minutes and Mode of communication may be urdu english both.

While being at Switzerland for about 3 months because of my Job nature, and then specifically getting some time out and rescheduling my interview and psychological through a gracious and cooperative Chairman, and managing to come all the way from Switzerland for appearing before the interview panel, i wasn't disappointed lastly

Though I am not an active member on the forum these days, but would like to share my experience as well:

I was the first one to be interviewed that day, and chairman wasn't present during my interview :

Member 1 (Acting Chairman) :

Member 1: Gentleman, after looking at your portfolio, we see that you've a brilliant career, and thus you can be a good officer, so why do you want to join PSC ?
Me: Answered in detail along with my practical objectives and projects

Member 1: In your view, how do You analyze our system, and what's the main hurdle in our system in order to lessen the corruption ratio ?
Me : Discussed in detail

Member 1: Comparison and recommendations as per your experience in europe and middle-east to our system and nation ?
Me: Discussed

Member 1: Any friends or family members in public service ?
Me: Answered

Member 1: Methods as per you to practically implement your projects and proposals for the betterment of KPK ?
Me: Answered in detail

Member 1: I am Satisfied !! .. Member 2, please proceed ..

Member 2: Short summary of Pakistan History
Me: Answered

Member 2: You discussed about _____ proposal, in my view and even if you look the history, it can be done ____ way, isn't it ?
Me: With due respect sir, i see these hurdles if i proceed your way, and there can be lot of technical issues like _____ as well, so it'll be better this way

Member 2: No, but if it can be done my way, it'll be better
Me: Sir, You maybe right, i'll consider it your way, but i'll be more comfortable as i can achieve it practically doing it my way

Member 2: How do You see memogate scandal ?
Me: Discussed

Member 2: I am done ... Member 3 .. Please ..

Member 3: How long it took you to make a place in your present organization ? And what's the criteria and procedure for recruitment ?

Member 3: When was objective resolution made part of the constitution ?

Member 4: You've remained at Saudia, how long will it take you to reach Jeddah from Khaiber ?
Me: Sir, is it Khobar ? Or Khaiber ?

Member 4: Khaiber.
Me: Sir, I've been at different cities, but am really sorry as i've heard this name for the first time, and it has increased my knowledge even, and i've no idea about this place

Member 4: You would have heard abt Dr. Khan Sahib and his party, can You please throw some light on this issue ?
Me: Sorry sir, I don't know about him and his party

Member 4: When was first martial law enforced ? Exact date ?
Me: Don't remember it exactly, Sorry.

Member 4: Thank You

Me: I am gratified indeed Fee Amaanellah


So as expected, it went very well for Me, and kind of unexpected too, because watching this forum every now and then, increased pressure on Me, because for about an year i remained untouched with the course that once i studied in past, and specially about US History and Pakistan History, as am not at all good in history from day 1
And the lesson i learnt from this interview, the more You take such scenarios lightly, the more you are confident during your interview and the more well it goes
But lastly, Thanks to Almighty Allah for blessing me and helping Me out
