I had my Final interview today. Panel was very friendly and cooperative. My interview lasted for 20 minutes and this seemed to be the norm, only one of our group mate's interview clocked a bit longer at 35 mints.

When I entered the room, Chairman greeted me and shook my hand, other members seemed a bit reluctant but I shook hands with them nonetheless

I am a Telecom Engineer and My optionals were Philosophy, Indo Pak History, Journo and Muslim law.

First of all, I was asked about telecommunication, what is it about, how telecom companies secure their signals and why didn't I join Army's signal core as an Engineer.

Then I was asked about Why Jinnah imposed Governor rule in KP and what are my thoughts about it. Why Jinnah declined Mountbatten's proposal to become Pakistani governor general?

Chairman then handed me over to second member sitting on his left who asked me about Indian navy plans in the indian ocean and kargil conflict. how many aircraft carriers does India has? How many aircraft carriers does china has? What is Pakistan's GDP? what is Iran's GDP? what is Afghanistan's GDP? What is current situation of Pakistani economy? What is current inflation rate? (There were some other questions related to Pakistani economy which I am forgetting now. He then asked the third member(bearded guy who looked a bit in bad mood) to continue the interview

Third member asked me Who was father of Jhangir, what was influence of Akbar's wives on Jhangir, Who is my favorite Mughal King? to which I said Babur. He asked me why you like babur, what's special about his memoirs, where is he buried, what's the language of his memoirs, what was special about farghana, why he attacked india, who was his biggest enemy in central asia?

Fourth member didn't ask much, he inquired about Who is the current head of Afghanistan? What is he doing in pak these days? How Pakistan and Afghanistan can make their relations better etc

I wasn't asked a single question from Philosophy, Journo or Muslim Law which was a bit disappointing because I wasn't expecting questions from History But Anyway, my Interview went pretty well except one or two occasions when I said I don't know the answer. That is all. Remember me in your prayers guys!

Goodluck to everyone.

Mode of communication was Urdu. But the members often switched to English in between the questions.

And there were 4 members in the panel including the chairman sb

Goodluck to everyone.
Dear Gray,

I was waiting for your reply.
And going through that i was extremely disappointed.
With the myopic vision of interviewers, It became evident now that this rote learning stuff will never leave our ways....
No analytical ability testing, no vision-judging questions were asked. Just read and learn by heart and you will be garlanded with the post of AC.

Very disappointing

@Waqas77: That's the irony and part of our rotten education system as well as Competetive exams only crammers do well. There's no place for Objectivity, analytical ability or Umderstanding on issues.

Thanks for wish
I didn't knew GDP of Iran or Afghanistan. I guessed ship carriers of China and India which was fortunately right
India has 2
China has 1
