I have my Group Discussion on 14th of Nov.
I think Final Interviews may not have started yet. As these may be after completion of Group Discussion of all the candidates. Can Seniors give some tips about Group discussion and tentative topics which one can expect???? Last edited by Muhammad Ali Chaudhry; Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 04:11 PM. Reason: chain posts |

Met a guy today at KPPSC, he took his final interview, said Chairman & other panelists were extremely positive people and made good efforts to put pressure off the candidates. Questions were asked in Optional subjects and it was pretty much easygoing interview.

To,
Ibrarkhan. Brother didn't you ask him what else was there? What was the dress selection of that guy and how many candidates were there for the interview, i mean candidates per day? |

He was dressed in typical Shalwar Qameez with a waistcoat. I mean it's entirely upto to you whichever clothes you feel comfortable in. He said 10 candidates are being interviewed each day. Questions are asked in Optional subjects so one has to be ready for that, the rest as I memtioned is easygoing interview.

Interview experience shared by a candidate named " Fahad Nasir " on facebook. I have copied that for you guys. Hopefully it will help you a bit.
The interviews are shorter than you might expect. It only took 20 mins and that was the average today. The panel consists of five interviewees. They asked me to state my optional subjects and then subsequently asked questions from International Relations. My optional subjects are: Indo Pak History, Journalism, Business Administration, Sociology. The chairman asked me a lot about the latest degree. Also, focused on how good a university IBA is. Then he inquired about my specialization and posed some questions on that. They asked me about the significance of Gawadar port and role of Iran in international politics in general and with respect to Pakistan in particular. The rest of the interviewees had objective questions like where is the panama canal? What was the value of Pakistani exports last year? Where is Malta? What is a current account deficit? My final interview was on 11th November, the panel was extremely friendly, and overall the interview went really well.
Interview started with introduction, family background. Then they asked question about my degrees. After a few questions they ask questions related to my current job. More than 70 % of interview was related to my current job. A few questions were about islamiyat. 3 questions were about optional subject. The chairman asked me why i chose journalism/muslim law. Interview duration was about 25 minutes, mode of communication was English, Urdu Pashto. |
